Mulberry Apiary

Bringing Sweetness from our house to yours.
How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Psalm 119:103
The Gardens
Our gardens are mostly focused on all forms of edible perennial plants with special attention on zone 3-zone 4. We specialize on forest gardening as well as the Back to Eden Gardening Method.
Our first garden was planted in 1999. Years of research, networking and communicating with different groups of people began to build our perennial edibles to where we are today with over 70+ unique rare varieties. Then in 2013, we discovered Back to Eden Gardening which helped with the main problem with perennials edibles; how to keep the soil fertile. Back to Eden Gardening also keeps the weeds in check which means we were able to expand our gardens. Today there are six focused gardens that are fenced. The rest of the 20 acres of Mulberry Apiary are scattered with many large and wild gardens. We have 2 acres of black berries, 2 apple orchards totaling 50 apple trees, 21 mulberry trees, 130 hazelnut bushes, elderberries and many other large plots of food. Garden tours are offered by request. There is a one hour tour that only focuses on the main gardens and then the 4-hour tour that covers all the gardens. If you need help in starting your own gardens we can help.
