Mulberry Apiary

Bringing Sweetness from our house to yours.
How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Psalm 119:103
Why is Mulberry Apiary a homestead and not a hobby farm?
*though some people might call us a small farm

At Mulberry Apiary, we call ourselves a homestead. This is because we use Permaculture Principles, Forest Gardening, and Back to Eden Gardening Methods. This is more than just a hobby for us; it is a way of life. Yet we aren't large like a big farm. We do not have big livestock but specialize in honey, syrup, chickens, chaga, elderberries, and edible perennials. The backyard homesteading movement is growing quickly across the nation, and we are proud to say we started in 1998 and have continued to grow every year.
