This weeks featured Plant is the Nannyberry (Viburnum lentago) zone 3-7. The Nanny berry is a native bush that makes a dark purple berry. It can grow up to 8 feet tall and had white flowers. This berry has only one seed that is just like a watermelon seed. It is not a super sweet berry but is not sour at all. It is good for fresh eating or you can leave it on the pant to dry on it on and eat them all winter. The chickens also love this berry.
